Does Edius Express do batch conversion of .mp4 files?

I used a demo version of NEO to help my father in law convert some NTSC MP4 HD files (from his fuji camera) to PAL AVI UK format.. it worked great, but he needs to do some more and I was hoping it could be done in Edius Express so he can buy and download the sw online cheaper than shelling out for NEO..

Also does it work on Windows XP like the NEO demo did?

Basically we loaded the camera clips into the Bin and then right click, save as PAL AVI (I forget the exact settings)..

Anyone ?
