by default, they move track patches up and down and usually get users into trouble

Edius_6 new timeline magnifier function, nice helpful thing.......
found it per by pure chance, maybe a nice Easter egg for mouse artists....
with hold continuous [shift] + mark a wished area with the right mouse key
automatically zooms the marked area up to the entrie timeline, behind to unclasp all keys
please look at the attachements and the text in the pictures
friendly greetings from the easter-bunny......... located in Central€urope

for zooming in and out of the timescale, I use the + and - keyboard on the # pad section, works great, that along with arrow up and down gets me moving very fast.

Edius zooming works fine with the scroll wheel, wave lab works great.
I use both on a daily basis, so my wish is based on familiarity with the 'feel' of both software.
I still hate the small handle of a 2 or 3 hour timeline ;(

I wish you could zoom the timeline similar to Steinberg wavelab.
Press control and touch the timeline ruler then move mouse up or down or just scroll, during editing most users have one hand on the mouse and one on thè keyboard, this makes for fast zooming.
In Edius, well, different :)
