Is there any way to export formats not listed in the Export dialog?

I know it's a stupid question, but I ask because I am able to set up capture presets that can use encoding targets such as XDCAM HD422 (50 Mb/s MPEG HD in an MXF wrapper), Canopus HQ & HQX in an MXF wrapper etc ... but I can't yet seem to find a way to export from my timeline in any of these formats.

Many thanks in advance for any pointers from those in the know.

You can export to a number of mxf codecs. Look at the first screen shot.

Thanks Jerry ... any ideas on exporting XDCAM HD422 MXFs too? Maybe I can build my own using the generic MPEG2 MXF preset ... will give that a go.

If you look at the first panel it will show many choices.

Well thats odd ... I scoured the presets looking for that and my XDCAM presets were strictly limited to XDCAM HD and XDCAM EX, there was no HD422.

Really appreciate the screenshots. It didn't make any sense that those options would be missing when clearly Edius could handle writing to those formats. Maybe a reboot is all it needs... am home now but will try again in the morning.

The screen shots were from 6.51. But, I checked in 6.08 and it looked pretty much the same.

Thanks Anton, yes actually I discovered that trick whilst looking for them, so I'm pretty sure I checked through all the presets with that box both ticked and unticked. Odd. Appreciate the tip nonetheless tho ... it's almost certainly some user error on my part somewhere along the line, maybe that was it.

I was using 6.51 today, so thats where I was looking. Maybe its me that needs a reboot, not the PC ... tomorrows another day (10pm here).
