  • Edius taking using drive space

Hi everyone, when I'm editing using edius 6 although all my projects are stored on external drives Edius is using big chunks of my C: drive. It is a 120gb SSD vertex drive that has now turned red to tell me I only have 4gb left !! What's happening and how can I stop it none of my projects are the C: drive, thank you

You may have erroneously built up a large 'Swap File' Start by checking it's actual size - My computer - open C:\ check the size of the 'pagefile' it would normally be about 2GB. If it is colossal you may need to seek the assistance of a computer expert.
Also check the sizes of files listed to ascertain the culprit, particularly Documents and settings - user (you) - local settings - temp. It's a good idea to delete all temp files after each session, see Antons excellent guides.
      I have assumed WinXP.
