I did not see the point of learning how to kill people

but I did learn how to make my own bed and fold my clothes

well, I did my time in the army but did not make it to officer, in fact I was more of a Max Klinger type, trying to get out early rather than stay

yes I saw that but wasn't sure how different 6.5 is from 6.07. Thankyou Anton, you are an officer and a gentleman!

    System and User settings guide

Win 7 and Edius 6.07: Anton, you produced some "Anton's recommended settings" for v5.51 I believe. Did you ever produce a guide for v6.07?

I searched your site and this fab forum but can't find a reference to any such recommendations. I have just applied your win 7 tunings and would like to finish the tweaking for performance.

My system will not play more than two stacked video channels with 4 QT text channels and a couple of Edius transitions smoothly without rendering and although it is probably not the fastest machine in the world, it's no sluggard and used to have no problem with 5.51. My video clips are all in avchd which I know can be problematic apparently , but this is not particularly intensive stuff, so it mus be a setting.

PS: No AV or internet when editing and it is a dedicated machine.
