HDV Capture Audio ends short

Normally I work by capturing direct to Canopus HQ Fine direct from my HDV Camcorder a Sony FX7E.

Recently I decided to try working in HDV Native to save some Hard Drive space.
I have the capture setting to Split on Scene Change.

Capturing HDV Native to MTS I notice that with each clip the audio ends short before 6-7 frames.

Is this normal or a fault?
I am worried in case this may induce any audio sync probs.

I am guessing it is to do with the Long Gop 15 Frame Structure of the MPEG Transport File.

Anyone?

I have switched back to capturing Canopus HQ Fine again for now just in case.
Though would like to go Native HDV to save space

can you do a test?

disable any of the automatic scene divide options and start and stop manually and let me know if the audio is short

I don't have a HDV deck to test

I've never found this, capturing m2t from HV20 in Neo 3. Hm. Will try to test tomorrow.

Because I had problems with capturing in Canopus HQ, so I switched to MPEG TS.

Interesting. I can't get hdv split to work on my windows 7 machine.

Today I have version 0.77 Beta downloaded and installed and everything worked fine.

Addition to my last comment: I think it is important that a proper MPEG codec on your computer is present.

I just did an HDV MPEG 2 preset and captured without issue. File split is automatically selected and all worked fine. Check your cable.
Could you post a screen shot of your capture preset for MPEG HDV.
