Effect Palette missing Edius 4.61

Hi,

When I click on the effect palette from the time line or from view in the top menu it does not show up but I can get all other palettes to work like the information etc.. Does anyone have an ideas how to get my effects to show up again? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling program it did not help. Thank you.

1 Have you tried show all Pallettes
2 Are you using 2 monitors but only one is on (it may be on the 2nd monitor)

I am only using one monitor and yes when I click on all Palette they all show up but the effects. The odd things is it was working fine yesterday and I un-installed the program and when I installed it back in it still missing the effects.

Sounds like install messed up try reinstall

I unstalled Edius 4.61 and then installed Edius 5 and the effects are still missing. I know Edius is not unstalling everyting becasue when I opened up Edius 5 my setting were still the same from ver 4. even had my old projects in window to choose from.

Can you do a screen shot to show they are missing
Is the effect palette present and just effects not showing
You have a little button on the right when you place mouse on it, it will say "effect view"

Hi,

I found the problem all I did was go to view in the tool bar and click on layout and set it to normal and the effects showed up. Thank you for your help.
