  • Overlay problem

    Wehave 3 sysytems ,but one system will not give us an overlay of the audio meters. We have tried Ctrl-G but nothing. Any suggestion?

    Look in the status overlay settings if the audio meters are not turned off.

      Check the meters' postition. If your monitor has considrable overscan they may be hidden in there. Turn on Timecode to make the overlay larger, that may help.

        Thanks, we now have the display, but we still can't toggle it on and off using
        Ctrl G like on the other two systems, we are using 4.51C on all systems.

            We copy one from one of the other systems, but it still does not work.

              Try changing the keyboar....just in case a key is stuck...happened to a couple of times....I almost went bananas...couldn't figure out what was wrong till I went to change the keyboard, and noticed that the Alt looked a bit lower than the others....just a shot in the dark......never know....till you check

                Hi Tom, I would suggest assigning another keyboard shortcut to it, restart, and then go back assign the original shortcut.

                  If using the mouse: View - Overlay - Status to make it worked then the problem is from the keyboard (dead key or stuck key as Alade suggested) or keyboard mapping.
