Question about project exporting

I have two clients they would like their video projects exporting for other edting system. The one have Avid wind 7 and other one in mac.

How can I exporting video projects maded with EDius 6 delivery for Avid and Final cut pro edithing system...Thanks.

You can use consolidate project found in File\Consolidate Project... for transporting project to other PC with Edius. Don't know about Mac and Avid.

But the problem is that they do not have EDIUS on their PC. They need whole the project transporting or exporting to Avid and Final cut pro and they want open it on their own editing system.

Does anyone know about this, what files are exeutable for exporting, how and which file type should I choose... Please Please it really urgents..Thanks

Every NLE software has completely different code to translate the edits you do and each have different filters and effects. I very much doubt that you can convert a project file from one NLE sofware to another if it's not from the same company.

I would export the parts of video that need further editing to video files from EDIUS and the others can import them to any NLE and edit. If you need to send him your cuts, make chapters at each cut and export the chapters to a text file.

I went through your recently discussion I don't see any solutions, does the AAF or EDL exporting solved your workflow, or is this not possible to do in EDIUS ?? began to wonder.
