This is probably a dumb question but here goes.
I normally produce my videos in HD720 using Edius6 on my NX system. The end product is always a single HQ file which is converted to a file in Procoder3 such as a WMV.
For an upcoming project, I am considering producing it at HD1080 resolution. I know that I can expect the entire experience in Edius to be slower with less real-time playback when using higher rez HD clips but I am wondering if there are any gotchas I am unaware of?
(I know that my system will not allow creating an HD1080p project and that I will have to do it as 1080i).
Thanks for any ideas!
