    try the soundbenders

apply to clip and you will see a P at top right, click it and yoiu get many more presets

be sure to always disable keyframes before you do anything

for some strange reason, newblue have keyframes enabled by default, imagine the layouter having keyframes enabled by default, it would drive you mad

that is because you need to apply it after you select it

look for the apply button near the small effects preview window

and all Boris transitions need to be rendered, they are not realtime friendly no matter how many $1000s you spend to build a super computer

              1. you apply the transition

              2. you exit Boris

              3. you render the transition area with Shift+Q after marking in and out

              4. what do you see?

I usually click the little insert button and then I click apply to exit

Boris lets you do many things especially in filters, like snow and rain generators

                      yes, with EDIUS native keyer
http://www.videoproductions.com.au/h...chromakey.html (warning, old EDIUS3 tutorial but still similar)

with the best keyer (not free)

http://www.videoproductions.com.au/h...en-screen.html (allows to add drop shadow)

No ... only in a Edius Version that is higher as the source from the .epz (6.07)
                          ... like Edius 6.08 or 6.5 or 6.51

and is it possible to open it in adobe premier
No ... not as projectfile .epz

                          Yes ... as exported Mediafile
Yes... as .EDL or .AAF manual => page 945 up to 952
but this method have some problems if are more a simple cut on the timeline
but this method need some advanced knowledge about editors basic rules

You can check the help files and manual.
I think that will be faster.
