1 Connect unit to pc.
1a some systems need the usb driver available from behringer
When using the usb driver from behringer you have to turn the unit on before or during booth or your system won't booth completely.
2 start Edius
3 go to plugin settings
4 go to input controller ->fader -> fader device settings choose Behringer bcf 2000
do a reconnect
5 Now under fader the Behringer BCF 2000 will show up
Click to open it and you'll see the mixer layout appear
Go to load presets in the layout and load preset 9
apply ok.
6 you are done.
Note: It does not work as it does in audio apps. Only fader control and JKL work.

Yep, all this works but preset 9 says "failed to load, confirm to connect BCF200" Strange as when I say connect is says yes connected OK...
bit stuck really, maybe I'll look for drivers on Behringer site, although the unit installed fine when I booted for the first time.
I use the Beringer driver and the unit shows up under sound, video and game controllers
Is the unit in usb mode?

OK, found olde driver, got it to work but only with mixer window open, so losses all realtime capability when editing - therefore seems to be not too useful!
First I noticed that the BCf implementation needs work to have more functions assignable during a mix.
The way EDIUS work is by preloading the buffer. If you would do an audio mix with the buffer pre-filed you would not be able to adjust the samples in the buffer.
The buffer would have to deplete first to allow the adjustment of the sample .
Also note that most audio is done after video lock.
That would mean that you could shift + q the timeline and work on the audio only.
The shift + Q will be better for doing the mix.
I do get that people edit in different ways but most of the time when Editing of Docs, Company films and commercials is audio is done this way.(after video lock)
The reason being that most of the time audio is "finished" in a real audio app.
If you want do that you need the video edit to be locked to allow a 1 video track stream for the audio app.
Just some background.

When I move the fader correspond level stripe moves up and down. Insteed of draging by mouse.
And when I play timeline correspond motorized faders moves to related positions.
I dont undrstand how to operate easy Edius audio mixer. Need I everytime click on track setting to LATCH/TOUCH/WRITE. After stop I need to click on all tracks again. Its too clickful.

That is one of the points that needs to be better. In audio apps you don't have to click this much is is indeed very frustrating when reviewing a second of the mix that you have to go back and choose the mixing mode.
