.
in vers. 6.0x it looks quite similar,
but only the listing text from the manual on the left side is a bit different
the manual 6.5 is a other thing, reduced text, no helpful pictures, NO INDEX.....

Still having problems.
Under the Settings pulldown, there is no "User Settings" option in my version. I have:
Project Settings
Sequence Settings
Applications Settings
Hardware Settings
Plug In Settings
Change Profile
Also, as things currently are set, in the Print To option, I have a "Print to Tape (dislay timecode)" but no such option for "Print to file".
Again, thanks for any suggestions.Leave a comment:

Normally, the timecode will be in the center bottom of the screen. If you want it in a different area as you have indicated, go to Settings>User Settings>Preview>On Screen Display. Click in the colorful arrow box where you want the timecode to be displayed. Then use Steve's instructions for export.Leave a comment:

Edius 5: How to Display Timecode in Video?
Let me first state that I am less than a complete novice with respect to video editing and related software. A week ago, my employer decided that this was one of my new tasks, and I was given about 90 minutes to learn Edius.
My current crisis is that I need to display the current timecode in the output video, and I simply can't find where/how to put it in there. I just need to save it, so that it displays in the upper left corner of the video. Can anyone walk me through it?
Many thanks, I greatly appreciate any help.Tags: None
