you are using totally non standard frame rates and sizes

      Mmmh,

QuickTime files are known for mis-calculation of frame rates in EDIUS because some QT files using non-constant frame rates.
It looks the calculation method in EDIUS is different, so the 'nominal' frame rate can't be recognized in files with non-constant frame rate.
I got this several times with different QT files having variable frame rates!

Determining the correct 'nominal' frame rate in QT is not easy.

I suggest you put the file in Virtualdub using the ffmpeg input plugin. See if it recognizes the right frame rate.
FFMPEG is different in calculation method & it didn't fail in the past when determining the right frame rate.
If this works do the conversion to HQ AVI straight from Virtualdub.

      Good luck

these files was exported to me from final cut project, and one of them is 22.48 fps, the second is 22.2 the third is 25.03 etc. really not constant frame rate. thank you so much for your support.

          You are welcome.
Can you ask for the original project frame rate in FCP?
Then set the files manually to the frame rate you will get from the editor.
I'm curious if one of my mentioned ways will work. ;)

i downloaded virtualdub, and tried it. it gives 25 fps, but it is very slow in working.
what about if i change the frame rate to 50 in the video properties (bin) and then change the speed to match the original clip duration (approx. 44% speed) with ineterlacing, then export with project setting 1080i 25fps interlaced. u think it can help?

I would ask the FCP user to do a proper export with in and out marked and audio ending at the same time as video

otherwise you will see strange frame rates like that

no point in you trying to fix the mess created by the FCP user
