  • EDIUS 6 51........Première Pro

    Hello,

why when i export in AAF TYPE 3 my project, then in Premiere Pro,
my footages don t see the croping that i edited with the new layouter ?

It's bad because the guy in charge of the colorization have to redo all the croping...

You only get the 'crop' if you export the clip. If you only edit the 'crop' in Edius it will only be saved in the project file, not the clip it self. Correct me if i'm wrong but i think all software works like this ..........

The technician told me that from PPRO to DAVINCI, when he does a AAF export,
      it keeps the crops,

please GV TEAM, help me on that point, thats important for us.

--Edius compatibility with any Editors on earth--

        Hello,

i can t find any answer to my question about aaf subject,

so if people could share their experience about the transfer from edius to Avid or Premiere Pro or Davinci or AE, it might help.

This is one point that make Edius a total professionnal product or not.

If we loose some part of the information, like the crops, when we export a project in AAF to any editors on earth, it s bad.

In my case, working on a professionnal video clip, the workflow is good until this point, but if GrassValley don t solve this trouble, i may edit on another editor for a next red format video clip.

I keep the faith in you fams'

peace out. Thanks for your feedback.
