  • How to edit mono QuickTime (.mov) videos from digital camera with Edius Pro 6.5?

    Hello!

I have added mov. clips from a Canon digital camera to a project but the sound is jerky.

    File info

    Format: H.264, 1280 x 720, 16,7 mill. 8 bit unsigned integer, mono, 12.000 kHz
    FPS: 29.97
    Data Rate: 23.44 MBit

    How can I avoid this?

    Thank you very much

I would start by converting the file to a Canopus HQX file to see if it's a performance issue with the hardware and the H.264 encoding, or if the file itself is the issue.

I noticed you are in Europe but the clip properties show that the file was recorded at 29.97fps. Are you editing in an NTSC or PAL project?

Mine is as well so I don't mind having this conversation in German if that makes things easier, but it would exclude most of the other members here.

            @ me2012

Maybe the same problem as in thread :

Same solution, convert the sound to 48 kHz stereo. Try it in the bin first.

            Hope this helps
