  • in./out points randomly being laid

while im editing a piece, sometimes when i pop the cursor on a part of the timline, all the sudden the in/out is laid for a section as if im doing the I/O manually which im not. i have to keep hitting the x button to get rid of that

You probably accidently double click in the ruler area, I do that once in awhile too.

I meant the timescale where you drag your playhead. If you have your track header highlight, when you double click there it will make in and out for you for the section that has a clip, a short cut feature.

Timeline in NLE is often referred to as ruler in other software.
Essentially it's a scale of measurement, time or distance :)

And yes, it happens sometimes in 6.x, Just hit X on your keyboard.

double clicking the ruler is very handy, I can't live without it

example: render non realtime transitions with Shift+Q
