Thanks Steve. Will give it go over the weekend. Have a good one yourself.

Export your project using AAF Avanced Authoring Format From EDIUS.
choose the option to create new clip and choose the codec and output your wav too.
If you have central storage you can use the option to use the original clips.'
But then you have to make sure that the canopus playback codec is installed on the premiere system or you use a premiere friendly codec for your Edius clips.
When the AAF is exported
Bring the folder in which the aaf resides to the premiere station
Use open/import AAf
That is it.

Sorry, Steve, but I'm not following your shorthand in "aaf and for transition compatibility use smpte". Would you kindly take just a minute and expand that so I can understand just what steps to take in both directions - EDIUS to PPro to EDIUS?
Much appreciated.

EDIUS/Premiere Pro imports?
Here's one I haven't seen. Many of us use both NLE's now. Is it possible to import TIMELINES from one to the other. EDL's don't even match! Tried that! The only way I see is to go to an *.avi and import, but then all audio tracks (and video) are combined into one. Anyone have a better way?
Thanks,
