Hello again,

when i try to export just one frame,
i can t.

even if i took the option "export between in and out cursors",

when i go to "export image", i dont see the old option, "export only one frame",

edius export all the sequence or all the footage...i really dont understand.

CTRL T is generally your best option.

If not, and you need to use Export, Did you set a frame duration with In and Out?

This single frame export has been changed (and not for the better) from 6.07. I am hoping we can get the old way reinstated.

but that s not good because you cant choose the format like tga, psd or tiff...

Yes you can. Go to Settings>System Settings>Importer/Exporter>StillImage. Set your file format there and that is what CTRL T will save.

The old way allows you to name the still image and choose where to send it. CNTRL-T just puts a generic still in your work project. Don't understand why one would have the need to create stills the new way.

Ctrl T has been in EDIUS since at least version 4 and I have always used this. You can also put a camera icon on the timeline and use that instead of ctrl-T. In the settings you choose the format, whether do de-interlace and fix aspect ratio, so all you need to do is click the camera, or ctrl-T, then go to the bing, right click on the still and choose "explorer" and Windows explorer opens up and highlights the still.

This does not mean people don't want the other way back of course.
