  • Edius 6.51 and HDSpark plugins

With Edius 6.07, I had HDSpark plugins for Adobe Photoshop and After Effects (VideoOutPlugins_v602).

Now, with Edius 6.51, these plugins don't work (not defined error -1).

Hoping GV will fix that and upload a new version of VideoOut Plugins :-)

What version of Adobe are you using? CS4 is the last supported one. You will probably have to reinstall the plugin from the registered users section.
It is video out Plugin pack 6.02.

      Thanks Jerry,

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 and Paint Shop Pro 7.04 (which perfectly uses adobe plugins format .8be).

      It's a new install of W7 Pro 64 and Edius 6.51.

I have downloaded the last Video Output Plug-in Pack v6.02 (Released: 2011-02-14) and installed .8be plugin in plugins folder of PSP.

Integrated VOConfig.exe doesn't recognize my HDSpark ( EDID from Edius folder recognizes correctly my HDSpark) and in PSP, each attempt to export / plugins / Canopus Output gives a "not defined error -1".

So I think that the HDSpark drivers installed by Edius 6.51 (version 7.0.1.0) are not compatible with Video Output Plug-in Pack v6.02.

Another side effect of 6.5 transition, I suppose :-)

I would contact tech support on that. I don't use the plugins
because each of my machines have Decklink cards installed.
