          Hi All
All my output now is to Bluray and so far with 6.51 has worked OK
So just gave it a try with DVD and there were no problems at all
DVD Image folder has correct folders and VOB's

Just something I noticed further back in the thread John's audio setting in "Project Settings" was 24 bit?
          UPDATE
No Just gave it a try by changing project settings and it still worked
          Could this be the problem

project settings audio won't be the problem since the audio is determined by the movie settings tab

I know John insists on mpeg2 audio, I always use ac3, I wonder if he tried with ac3

that's why I think something has taken control of VOB files

or something has broken the DVD mpeg encoder (Nero rings a bell, and so does PowerDVD)

I will try and remove Nero after making an image, Having said that its on my 6.07 caddy
I am about to try a one by one uninstall also once i have made existing image
untill i have an OS only and then put 6.5/1 back as a trial only

Tried AC3 didnt make a difference
                  Quick resume
I can burn DVDs on Encore CS6 and CS5.5, Vegas 10 pro plus Vegas 11 non pro, imgburn and also i can use the built in Burn to disc in Firecode writer

                      What get lost ! LOL
Lets hope so as long as it doesnt involve changes to MB etc otherwise other caddies could stop working
Europe support is in Germany so i will complete form tommorrow and hope they ring me otherwise its expensive for international calls

removed everything one by one down to Edius and problem was still there
Uninstalled Edius and reinstalled now it works so next job reinstate caddy
and just remove Edius 6.5 and quicktime
                        Keep you informed

Success its working with all previous software
Something must have gone wrong with original install. I uninstalled both Edius and to be safe Quicktime. reinstalled them both being careful with the Licence arrangements. I chose not to send licence back to server to do it later as it was installing back to same PC( but its nerving)

Thanks again to Jerry and Anton for the encouragement given

No luck here burning DVD with trial Edius 6.5

I am 14 days into a Trial version of Edius 6.5 and on export from the timeline to burn a disk the only option I have is to burn a BD. The option in the Basic tab for DVD is greyed out. Checking the DVD writer (ASUS DRW-24B1ST) and the BD writer (Pioneer BDR 2207) on "Device Manager" in Windows 7 Ultimate, the driver details lists three drivers. One of these drivers is named cdrblock.sys and is shown as provided by Grass Valley K.K. The other two drivers are generic Windows drivers. See screen shot provided below. Could there be a problem with the cdrblock.sys driver that causes Edius confusion over what disc burner is available and/or capable of writing?

I am hoping to resolve this issue before the end of the trial. I am planning on burning many DVD's for a project I am working on and do not want to purchase the Edius 6.5, if I cannot use this feature.

Thanks for your help.Drivers for Pioneer BD-RW-207M.jpg
