  • No audio when dropping Quicktime movie onto timeline

I have some video shot in QT and when viewed in QT player audio is present. However when I import these files into Edius only the vision is imported not the audio.
I'm guessing its something to do with the way the audio has been encoded in the QT file?
Anyone any ideas how to get the audio imported as well?

I have just started having some similiar problem with some Digital Juice files (with audio) that are rendered as QT files. There has not been a problem before, so either the latest update in Edius or the one in QT changed something. What version of QT are you using?

The only embedded audio supported by the QT importer is PCM Wave. If it's QSound or AAC, it won't appear in EDIUS - you'll have to export the audio separately as PCM Wave.

Yep. Used PCM Wave here with the no import problem.
