Another 3D PnP Question

I have 3 consecutive clips on timeline. To each I add 3D PnP, all different setups - border. cropping. etc.
No problem.
But if I then add a transion between clips, the 3D PNP setting changes to whatever the settings were for clip 1.
Is there a way to preserve the orginal 3D PnP for each clip?
I know I can make each clip it's own sequence, then use the the sequences as source in timeline, but I wondered if there was a faster approach.

No better way available.
You can use transitions to multiple Tracks in an A/B edit vs. a single-track edit.

This was always an issue with Edius, so, the work around....save that area as an .avi, and bring it back on the timeline, and then add your transition

If you are using dissolves you can use the transparency settings in Layouter and keyframe the the fade in and fade out portions of the effect. Or as said before AB type editing.

AB editing is the solution and using opacity transitions on the keyer track

it is easy to position the upper track until the required overlap is created such as one sec if you want to dissolve 1 sec
