    Canopus HQ fine

is the Canopus HQ Fine a good idea to export to from out of EDIUS if you are already using Canopus HQ Fine as an Editing Source.

At the moment I normally capture HDV direct to Canopus HQ Fine
and then export to MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 with the Firecoder.

If you go from source Canopus HQ Fine to Output Canopus HQ Fine AVI
like to fetch into TMPG Works or Authoring, is there a loss of quality?
Am I best exporting to Canopus Lossless out of the timeline instead?
