Cannot open Project

I had a power failure in a building I am tempory editing in.
I have 8 backups of todays edit, but none of them will open.
edius just sits there saying loading project.
I can open up yesterdays edit.
Any ideas, if I cannot open it up I have lost 8 hours!

In Edius 6 you have 2 separate paths for saving
1 is the auto save and the other is the backup I have them on separate disks.

If non of the backup projects open which I find strange you can also try the autosave.

What you can also try is the following:
Open EDIUS
Create a new project.
Go System settings create a new user profile.

Exit EDIUS.

Start it again.
Select the new user profile.
When EDIUS is loaded with that user profile go to open and then open one of the backup projects.

A UPS is your best friend when using a desktop......

G'day Steve
I am on a laptop on location away from my main edit.
The auto save have not saved! the check box delete when saving was ticked!
Any ideas how to restore the project?
