    24p preview out

    figured out how to setup a 24 project.
    have that timeline, loaded clips but cant get anything on my external preview monitor, says device wont support??????
    no problem with my regular hd projects

    24 is for cinema

        .....and a monitor that will support that. Newer HDTV's support this. So if you have an older monitor, check to see if it has that feature.
        As Pat said, make sure that the tick box is checked. It won't do anything without that.

          What hardware card? Storm 3G won't support it via HDMI
          AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, RTX 3080, 64GB RAM, EDIUS X WG.

                I am looking a a 23.98 out to a monitor that supports 23.98 through my Storm 3G over HDMI with Edius 6.07
                Make sure you have that pulldown box checked and a monitor that supports 23.98....24.

                  I think what Mark is saying is if you choose real 24p (not 23.98p) it will only work in software mode. :)

                  (Btw 24p is the title of the thread not 23.98p)

                  True 23.98p over HDMI is only supported with the HD storm with the 3G with the puldown.
                  Over SDI we do Both 23.98 PsF and 24 PsF

                      Right on. A lot of people talk about 24fps, but don't realize they're using 23.97. It's good to make this clear.
