Speed controller?

Hi everyone.
I just saw thiw utility in grass valley site.It is written that it is and it is not officially supported. So what does that mean?Is it ok if i install it? And does this speed controller is the same as we say twixtor ?

Isn't speed controller something of the Canopus era, stand alone app, long long time ago .........

its the first time i see it so i wondering what is that. So is this something thats worth trying?

Think this is the same utility that was used waaay back in the good old days of Canopus 'Let's edit.."Storm"....check the release date on it...2001.....so, good luck using.....hope it works with windows 7

Just right click in Edius on a clip and choose time effect / speed (ALT + E) and it does the same as that standalone app, except it's realtime in Edius, the app needs to render out a file and most likely only excepts SD Canopus codec :).
