I have an edius NX pci-pci-x card in my workstation.
today i installed a new version of windows, XP 64 bit, and now i can't see my canopus card.
    Do i need another drivers?
Is there more peolple with the same problem?
Or the solution is not on the drivers?
    thanks in advance.
    Regards

I believe there are no drivers for 64 bit windows, so you can only use the card in ohci mode, or that's all I could when testing 64 bit XP and vista.

"so you can only use the card in ohci mode ..."
      How is that?
      Thanks

In the settings you choose ohci mode. It then works just like a normal ohci firewire card.

johannesj thanks for your answer ....

I can't believe that there is not a driver for 64 bit.
Now that i have a better computer i don't have my canopus card for realtime renderings.
And not only that, i'm After effects user, so i'm used to have the previews
throught the Canopus video output plugin as well.

So really, i would like to know if this company is gonna have new drivers or not.
This doesn't make sense at all.

I don't know what else to say, except that this question has been answered many times. Edius is 32 bit application and IF drivers are ever written for 64 bit, noone here (read US GV employees) knows the timeframe. If you use the search feature, I am sure you will see several threads on the subject.
