Edius 3. Lately I am getting audio files with the WMA prefix. Edius does not recognise the Windows Media file. Is there a way to import these files?

My memory is being tested majorly, but I believe that Windows Media Video/Audio support was added in v4.00.

Even with WMA file support, be aware that WMA supports Digital Rights Management which may prevent you from using such files -- restrictions can be placed on where and how the content is used.

Yeah, so if you get a WMA file from let's say an online store (Napster, etc) you cannot use these files...the only way you can do it is if you burn it to CD from the online store application (such as napster) and then rip it to WAV.

WMA (non DRM files) work in Edius, and I've tested this. It is not recommended though. I always use WAV.
