I have a problem I was trying to get answered for many years, but never got any....How can I get the icons for TGA files to show up in Edius , not as those blue PS icons, but actual picture icons......I only just got back to this as I was given tons of TGA files to use in a project, and they don't have names on them so I can identify them....is there a way, or do I have to just open a windows browser and drag them into Edius

(update): It seems that some are showing and others are not...the files I make from edius timeline show up great, but others made in PS seem to the ones giving the problems......I know there is an issue with them not showing up in windows explorer, but now I am having the same in Edius....again.
.....and what are the best formats to use...I am used to TGA, but changed to jpegs after I had this issue some time back...

if you use the EDIUS file browser, you should be able to see a preview of the selected tga in bottom left of file browser

personally, I use the Photoshop bridge without even opening PS and use it like an explorer, it draws thumbnails from anything

I drag directly from bridge to EDIUS bin

Windows Explorer is light years behind and Win7 explorer is the worst of all time, everything is auto arranged, you can't drag thumbnails around to sort to a storyboard like in XP, unless you are willing to do some hacking
