I had one 4.24 project that I opened, worked on, and saved a few times in 4.5 before reverting to the earlier version (because of the Imaginate and live title output issues). The project was unaffected. But this was a relatively simple 4-minute SD video with lots of QuickTitler captions, a couple of Imaginate inserts, and no audio, so it's hardly an insurance policy for projects that work 4.5's new features harder.

thanks, it worked for me too, however it would not work with SP hardware at first, OHCI only
so I installed the HX-E1 driver from E4.51 and it works great now
live output of TM Pro
TmPro no longer causes crashes
all my Imaginate projects work again
and I can add D1 clips to DV projects and vice versa without losing resolution
I no longer need to add a dummy black matte at the end of timeline in order to export to the out point, this was getting me in trouble daily with DVD clips ending right at the last frame instead of a second or so of black
basically, I can be productive until the patch comes out for 4.51Anton Strauss

I know that GV appreciate the titler problems, but have they even acknowledged the D1/DV and end-of-timeline issues, let alone started working on patches for them?Andrew Pinder

another thing I like is the red capture and red print to tape/file buttons, they make logical sense, I did miss them in 4.5Anton Strauss
