How to configure the 'Edit while Recording mode'.
It means I can continue capture in Edius while editing in timeline ?

If anybody knows about it please discuss.

    Thanks in advance.

Maybe buy a K2 server from GV :)

Edius itself is not able to do this.

Edius alone can't do this. However, I have a Storm 3g card and an Intensity Pro card installed. I can edit in Edius 6 while I capture into the Intensiity Pro card and Media Express. Both, realtime! The Intensity Shuttle will not do this on the same system. I attribute that to USB 3.0 not being as fast as an internal pci-e card.
I doubt I would even do this in a practical setting. If I was going to capture and edit I would capture on my other machine and either capture with Edius or with the Intensity Pro.

Using DVcapture to devide the files while capturing will work but to edit earlier recorded files with any NLE from the same hard drive would be Russian roulette at best.
Play and test is fine in this scenario, I would Never try this in a live event !

Having 2 systems and capture the first part of event (recording to be done in sessions / DVD chapters) and than switch over to the second system (with overlapping recording) would be the safest bet, I used that in the DVstorm2 days for church rally's who lasted several days with VCD or DVD sales the next session same day.

Even on some high profile weddings it worked as a charm with 3 systems doing the same thing.
If budget is a concern the workflow described above is a bit crude, but quite effective.
