  • DVCPro HD 1280x1080

Footage from US supplied shot at 1280x1080i
I know I can make the project at that size BUT it will be delivered at 1920 so thoughts on setting project to 1920 and making graphics at 1920?

    Thanks

I would place the clip direct in 1920 project setting, should look fine

I often do the same with 1440 clips

      Hi Anton
Thanks for prompt response - funny wouldn't have thought twice about doing with 1920 and HDV but the 1280 had me wondering.
      I'm giving it a whirl.

      Thanks

the 1280 is not the problem, it uses rectangular pixel

the vertical resolution is more of a killer

example, 1280x720 will look soft in 1920x1080 project

1280x1080 will look perfect in 1920x1080 project

1440x1080 will look perfect in 1920x1080 project
