chroma = color level, more or less color

bright = increase or decrease brightness, but this also lifts the black level

contrast = increase or decrease white and black levels at the same time

"Chroma" the amount of color in a scene or "saturation".
"Contrast" the difference between light and dark areas.

Cyan - Red
Magenta - Green
Yellow - Blue
are near opposites on the Color Wheel and a logical choice for slider controls.
