30p preset to 60p help

Greetings,

I started a project with a 1920x1080 30p preset and would like to change it to a 1920x1080 60p preset. The project is at an advanced stage and it would take too much time to redo everything...

The footage is from the new Sony HDR-PJ760V in 60p. I am also using edius 6.06.

Edius wont let change the framerate of the project. Is this normal ? is there a workaround to do it without loosing the informations on the sequence ?

EDIUS will not let you change from 30p to 60p

what is the end result of 60p, Web? DVD? Blu-ray? file playback?

you could always change to 60i in which case the footage will look fine

I often place 50p footage in 50i timeline and this if fine for DVD or Blu-ray, smooth movements, no flickervision
