Burning to bluray & artifact issues

    Hmm, well it looks like it's definitely time for bed!! While the video is definitely better this time around, there is still artifacting that i don't see on the same file i exported from Edius & played on the tv from my laptop. So i guess that can only mean one thing, & that thing i'm thinking is the bluray player itself. Since the video was not re-encoded this time around, the only thing different about the two files, were that one was played from Windows media player on my laptop, the other played from the Bluray on the Bluray player.
    Maybe i have to go in search of someone else with a Bluray player to see if the results are the same!

    Again, thank you all so much for your help, this has been a real learning experience!

      check the Blu-ray player setup menu to see what it is outputting via HDMI, maybe it is set to 720?? seen that many times
