is there a way to edit a registry key so that all sub windows open at a desired location?

for example, when I click capture, the capture window opens on top of the preview window, this blocks the view so I have to drag it away

when I click application settings, it also opens on top of preview monitors

basically, I want to have all sub windows open on my second monitor, after dragging them all there, Edius correctly opens them in my desired location while the PC is running, however if I turn it off and restart the next day, all sub windows open in the default locations again

My video card driver has options for where dialog windows open,,, you might check that.

mine has as well, but it plain refuses to work, I am using nview desktop manager and I added Edius to unique applications and set the windows to open in monitor 1b and centred, Edius ignores these settings but all previous versions of Edius adhered to these settings

all other software adheres to my nview desktop settings

which desktop software do you use, I may try it
