  • DVD Creator crashes Edius

    I've been living with this, but would really like to figure what is happening.
    When I go to burn a new project to disk, I get this message:
    Task Bar---> Burn to DIsk Notice

    Body----> "C:\.....Local\Temp\DVD Creator.hdp" does not exist
    cannot open the project

    From here, I have to quit then restart Edius, then I am allowed to burn a disk.

    Anyone with any ideas of where to look?

    Again, thanks to everyone-- I wish I could buy a round for everyone!
    Much appreciated!--- Ed

    Choose a new temp folder for your DVD projects... preferably a new one for each project. I have a temp folder setup for Edius DVD and inside there I create a new directory for each burn project and clean them out when I no longer need them.

    Dave.

      I would never let the DVD Creator use the system temp folder, browse for a custom folder (in detailed settings) on any drive other than C

          As Anton said it is under detailed settings in the write tab.
