  • QuickTitler Full Rez Trick?

Can someone point me to the setting that forces QT to always display the text in full rez instead of the blurry rez?

I had this setup before but now can't remember what the trick was to get it working again.

    Thanks!
    Sincerely,

    Mike Truly

Since it's not recommended to activate the high resolution preview mode on slower machines it's not documented. From the German GV forum:

Open QuickTitler and press 'Ctrl + Shift + F3'

To deactivate it press F3 again.

Anton has mentioned this in one of his post long long time ago :)

Never the less, good to be reposted, should be ON by default with maybe an option to OFF it for slower machines.

It's in the options- who said it's hidden?

You can make it permanent if your computer is fast enough in E6

Open regedit and select this entry in the left hand pane...

              HKCU\software\canopus\QuickTitler\6.00\Quicktitler \TitleRendering

In the right hand pane right click 'Quality', select 'Modify' and change it from 0 to 1.

I said and I will stick to the fact that it is hidden unless you know the trick already mentioned

with the trick employed, text will be sharp as you type

                btw, I don't use QuickTitler

Using the regedit trick on my Edius 5 here for ages, posted about it on here back then, not sure where I got it from. In Edius 6.6 I found that ticking 'Preview' on Quick Titler's view menu toggles this setting so that it sticks" unlike previously, so it's a once only task.

But it's not a trick- it's one of the features in options. If it's undocumented than it's separate issue.
If you would have to edit registry to turn it in on at all than it would be trick :)

I was not happy with quality preview and look at options and found it- it was not difficult at all to find or use.

we are talking about full res preview as you type

can you confirm that your text looks razor sharp as you type or does it look blurry?

                          When I type looks blurry.

                          Different thing- sorry.
This is a trick than- good one.

I'm a little late coming into this thread, having only just joined the Edius game, so maybe things have been upgraded by now, but for my reference and understanding; Doesn't the icon at the top with an "A" and magnifying glass do this?

                              Thanks,
