D1 material look out of focus in a DV project

After starting a dv project and importing dv material the picture look sharp but after importing D1 (HQ) material the D1 material in the DV project look out of focus.
The same when you start a D1 project an you import DV material the DV material look out of focus.
Project is in pal 4.51c
Anyone experience this problem or know a solution?
