Sounds like quite the challange...
Check your PM, I'll give it a whirl.
Can you post a single full-sized frame here?
Okay guys... no cheating with Photoshop.

But what you do isn't the same as a polirize filter.
It's different.
Let me give you an example.
If you shoot in to water and you have the sky reflected in it so record the sky in the water effect. How will you remove the sky in the water effect to show the fish that were swimming by?
With a polarize filter i rotate the glass so the sky disappears and I see the fish and record that to tape.
The only way I know how to fix this is in AE but then you need to have a clean shot of the subject from a different scene and it will take some trickery to pull it off. Because you are going to mix key resize and erase.
You can't do that with the chrominance filter.

Come on guys... edit!
I get these all the time... sky too bright, glass looks yucky.
I fix them pretty easily with the Chrominance filter.
Be patient, the (default) color picker is dreadful. I get great results with the Oval range tool, Histogram, and Show Key boxes checked.
Works brilliantly.
I recently used Chrominance to turn a distracting blue water bottle label grey in an otherwise beautiful scene using only Chrominance. I'm talking about a label that might occupy about 0.25% of a 10 sec. scene. Really tiny, but fixed in 5 min.
Remember, this is (in my opinion) the most complicated and powerful of Edius's filters, so hang in there.

If the reflection is not too bad, he might be able to track the footage and mess with the color timing in that area....just something off the top of my head.
A re-shoot is much better, of course.

I don't see how you could fix this without just reshooting with a polarizing filter on the camera. What you shot does not have the information in it to use a filter to reveal something behind a reflection.

Eidius 4: a filter like a polarizing filter?
Hi, I have just done a shoot of a scene with a man behind a glass window (10seconds). Now I see a the reflections of light and I see his face no good.
Is it possible to use a filter with Edius 4 like a polarizing filter?
I use Xplode 4.5 Pro too.
How could to solve my problem?
thanks for some info.Tags: None
