theyre mov. but wont open in E6

I did a search and found this issue was solved by Nikon with D7000 Firmware Update 1.02

after the update, the files will open in EDIUS

you have to open one at a time in quick time player pro and save as new name, that fixes the issue of the corrupt file header

Actually this problem is now well known and the solution is quite simple:
just upgrade your D7000 firmware (available on nikon support's website), and all your FUTURE videos will be fine in EDIUS without rencoding.

For the moment you can use SUPER (free software), and choose not to reencode video, but only audio (to aac for exemple, or whatever you want)

I didn't knew that file renaming in QT pro was enough to solve the problem. This solution is quite better than mine (considering you have QT pro....)
