My burner is seen in other programs just not Edius?

I would think its a matter of your OS seeing the DVD burner. I would suppose you have done another install of the DVD burner. Have you installed the drivers for the burner?
Can you find the burner using Windows explorer or my computer?

Lite-ON DVDRW, connected via IDE.
Instead of burning from the timeline I've just made the audio & video files and then burned with DVD shrink & decrypter.

I tried to burn my project from the timeline to DVD but my DvD burner is not showing up? The option to select burner dosen'd even show up at the end of encodeing?
