Tip: How to add Presets option to ProCoder Express for Edius

In Edius 4.5 add alot option for presets
but for some encoding you still need to use ProCoder Express
Like from example: from PAL to NTSC, NTSC to PAL, Quicktime files, MPEG2 elementary streams

Basically its turn "previous history" in ProCoder Express to Presets
The only disadvantage in this, the "history" will be disable.

Step 1:
By encoding 5 sec from timeline with ProCoder Express,
fill history list up 10 jobs you want to turn to presets
with output to same directory like for example: "D:\Procoder output"

Step 2:
Rename jobs name on history list of ProCoder Express.
Go to folder "C:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Application Data\Canopus\ProCoder Express for EDIUS\History"
the XXXX you user name in windows

In this folder you find XML files
Each XML file represent job in history list
Open XML file with Notepad
find and edit string for example from: Header Name="DV File 720x576 (09-24-09,14:06:41)"
to Header Name="AVI DV PAL 4X3"

Step 3:
Disable from ProCoder Express add more or modify history jobs
In file option windows, disable "Use simple file sharing"

Go to folder "C:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Application Data\Canopus\ProCoder Express for EDIUS"
the XXXX you user name in windows

Right click on "History" folder and select properties
go to "Security" and select write deny.
