Copy video track to video&audio track and activate audio

Hi,
is there a possibility to copy a video track (V) to a video&audio track (VA) so that I can activate the audio of the videosource?
If I copy the track and paste it to a new va track I have no audio ...

Please help me!

No need to copy.
double click the clip so that appears in the player window.
Here you can do 2 things.

1 Pres x and drop the clip on the VA track

OR

2 go to in and set in again for audio , go to out set out again for audio.
This way you keep you in and out as you had it.

If I do this I will have the complete uncutted clip in the va track. But I need the cutting information also ...

That's why there are 2 possibilities.

2 keeps your in and out as I said.
Why don't you try it first?

When the clip is in the player window you see the margin of the in out
Go to video in (keyboard key "A")
use set audio in from the drop down

Then go to video out (keyboard key "S")
use set audio out from the drop down.

Now you have the clip with audio and video with the same margin as you had in the timeline.
