Can you lock chapter markers?

I'm just learning Edius 6 and have a question about chapters markers.

I have set about 15 chapter markers.

If I go in and decide to ripple delete a portion of a clip anywhere on the timeline, my markers remain in the same position even though where I wanted them has now changed.

Is there anyway to lock them in relation to the clip points they were originally set at?

Not at this time. Chapter markers will not move with a ripple edit.

A two step helper is to make an audio node where the chapter point is, and then when all done replace the chapter point where it belongs. I also wish we had a choice to lock the chapter points.

While a lot less usefull you could use Clip Markers and when your final edit is done create on the same place Timeline / Chapter markers.
Not a great solution but this is what I used since version 4.
