Hi,
Hope for a bit of help on this one...
When I playback HDV in Edius, it´s like slowmotion - the whole playbackengine is off, even the timecode displayed is playing back at approx. 50%...
I have solved the problem before by uninstalling Edius 4.5 completely, and then reinstalling it afterwards. This I did yesterday - reinstalled, rebooted and checked that HDV playback in Edius was ok, and it was. Then I shut down the PC.... And today I then started it - opened Edius - and bang, the problem was back.... I simply do not get this....
Since it worked after the first reboot, there should be nothing odd with the project or hardwaresettings as far as I can reason. The only difference between the working state and non-working state is that the computer was shutdown overnight!??!?
Here´s a little systeminfo, for the wiser ones:
XP Pro SP2, updated completely
Edius 4.51c
NX hardware with the optional firecoder...
All intel on the motherboard
Dualcore 2 x 3Ghz
3 gigs of ram
I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy hope someone has som input - this is driving med nuts...
Regards,
Erik Høirup
