  • DVCPro HD .avi where is it gone?

    Hi,

    I recently installed Broadcast 4.51c and I am wondering where DVCPro HD for avi is gone?
    Am I overseeing something or has it been removed?

    Do you have an Edius Broadcast dongle? Or were you trying to install the Trial that includes all features?

      I have bought the Edius 4.25 and then downloaded the 4.51 c and installed it. The dongle is connected.

        Are you working with a DVCProHD project? I see the DVCProHD AVI option when working with compatible projects.

          All my shots are from P2 DVCPro HD.
          I found it. But.....only when my export settings are:
          OHCI HD 60 Hz, Output 1440x1080 59.94i

          or:
          OHCI HD 50 Hz 1440x 1080 50 i or 25 p

          But I need full 1920x1080

          Thank you

            To my knowledge, the DVCPRO HD exporter in EDIUS does not support 1920x1080.

            I haven't got a third party application to test it outside of EDIUS.

              To my knowledge there is no 1920X1080 in dvc pro HD.

              It is SMPTE 370M i'll check with smpte but I think it is
              720p -> 960x720
              1080i -> 1270 X1080
              59.94i ->1440X1080

              But as I said I'll check with smpte.

                I checked with another source who said that what you are asking is impossible for DVCPRO HD.
                The only full raster panasonic format is D5.

                1920X1080 will be recorded In DVCpro HD as 1270X1080 (maximum Raster)

                  Yes, there is no full HD mode for DVCPROHD at all...unless you count AVC-Intra, which is not really DVCPROHD...

                  The maximum DVCPROHD supports is 1280x1080 for it's 1080i setting. If you use an incompatible frame size, it won't work.
