  • Edius 6.05 - long export time

    Hi,
I just upgraded to Edius 6 and I am benefiting from all the improvements and new features.
However when I exported my latest project which has a duration of 1 minute
to Windows Media Video it took 31 minutes!

I was a simple HD project (720p) consisting of a mixture of HD and SD source material and with some nice effects - blend modes, masks, nice transitions etc etc.
The project plays fine in realtime on my preview monitor.
I have the SHX-E2 SDI hardware.

    Did I miss something?

    Found it!
The "export in/out" option was unchecked.
So it would seem that I did indeed miss something.

New export took about two minutes....*sigh*

The good news is that the UI remembers your selection.
