  • about scroll title

I use edius 4.0 with the card NX, when I add a scroll title to the sequence then render to DVD, the scroll title was dithering... some one can tell me how to solve it?

which titler did you use? TMPro or QuickTitler

you may consider a smooth roll speed, this formula should work with all titlers

When I had jittery scroll graphics, I had to go into project settings and correct the output device and input format settings. The settings would be different depending in what format you're editing.

you mean I have to specify a fastness roll speed when I want a better quality? or I have to specify some given format ? any other way to solve this problem?
        thx!

first of all, what is your definition of dithering? is it a flicker? or ants crawling around the tile edges as it rolls?

if it is ants, my formula will work

if it is flicker, you have a field order setting incorrect somewhere
